Nathan "Ed" Kaiser

Ed Kaiser is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 11 years of experience, specializing in addiction medicine for the past 7 years. With a deep passion for helping individuals struggling with substance use disorders (SUD), particularly alcohol use disorder. Ed offers a simple online programs that help individuals regain control of their alcohol use within 3 to 6 months.
The Sinclair Method (TSM) is a treatment for alcohol use and alcohol use disorder (AUD) that focuses on reducing alcohol cravings and consumption through the use of naltrexone, an FDA-approved medication. Naltrexone blocks opioid receptors in the brain, which diminishes the pleasurable effects of drinking. In TSM, patients take naltrexone about an hour before consuming alcohol. Over time, this method can help "extinguish" the positive reinforcement associated with alcohol, leading to reduced consumption and, in some cases, eventual abstinence.
