Julie Benzaquen, PhD
Julie Benzaquen, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in treating children, adolescents, parents, and families. Dr. Benzaquen practices on the Main Line of Philadelphia in Narberth PA. She offers a range of services, including therapy, consultations and psychoeducational assessments. She treats a variety of mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, school stress/bullying, learning disabilities, and behavioral difficulties. In addition, she has extensive experience working with children with chronic illnesses and medical challenges.
Medical Education
After completing her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Benzaquen received a master’s degree and a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Miami with a specialization in child and family psychology. She completed her clinical internship and fellowship at A.I. duPont Hospital for Children where she subsequently worked as a licensed psychologist. Dr. Benzaquen was an Assistant Professor at Thomas Jefferson University from 2009 to 2010. Since 2011, Dr. Benzaquen has worked in private practice settings providing consultation, assessment, and intervention services for children, adolescents, young adults, and families.
